When I bought this book I thought it would be about the mystery aspect of the last case Izzy has to solve before quitting the family business, and finding her little sister. I expected a whodunnit mystery with a bit of romance and was very eager to read 'The Spellman Files'. Sadly, this wasn't the case at all. The book was largely about characters' backgrounds and the Spellman family dynamic. While sometimes funny, to me the main character was a little too weird. I've enjoyed reading it, but I won't read the other books in this series.
